What they’re saying about February’s Touchstone for Excellence Conference

I have never been more proud to be a member of ORRA than I was the last two days at the Touchstone for Excellence conference. You guys outdid yourselves and showed why ORRA is one of the most respected local Associations in the country. I am still beaming with pride about the impression you and ALL of our staff made on several hundred members and execs from all over the country who recognize that only a select few could have pulled off such an event in the superior fashion that you did. You have my heartfelt congratulations and thanks for making OUR Association the BEST in the world.

Belton,

Please convey to the entire ORRA professional staff my thanks for the tremendous job they did with the conference. Few, if any, other local association staffs could have pulled off the flawless production that they did!

"ya done good"

Belton:

I want to tell you what a wonderful job you and all your staff did, along with the membership in developing and putting together the conference. I can't tell you what an impressive job you did. You should be very proud of yourself. As a Realtor member of the industry, I commend you on your foresight in developing this vehicle. I was proud to have been a small part of it all. Thank you again for all your work to make the real estate industry a better place for myself and my family.

I think the consensus among the attendees was that higher standards of service and practice are a worthy goal. The topics of who will develop those standards, who will implement them and who will police them are quite controversial.

The notion that customer satisfaction ought to be as important a measure of the performance of managers, as sales production is, struck a responsive chord in me.

The Orlando, Houston and Chicago Associations co-sponsored this very classy conference, which was moderated by industry visionary and all-around Brainiac Jeremy Conaway. The speakers were very provocative, and the crowd pretty darn sophisticated. This will become a yearly event, and I highly recommend it to educators. We as instructors will certainly be instrumental in the process of evolving the quality of professional service that R.E. licensees provide to their clients.
